“Standing in the sunlight laughing...”

Jordan is my daughter's best friend, and I've known her and her family for years. I knew she would be an absolute joy to photograph. Jordan is exactly what you imagine when you think of a bubbly, charismatic cheerleader. She is funny and always smiling. Her portraits show off that beautiful smile and capture glimpses of her contagious energy. Tracy, her beautiful mom and my dear friend, came along for the fun. They made Jordan's session just as much fun for me as it was for her. 

When you live in a place as gorgeous as Austin, sometimes one location just won't do! Jordan wanted photos in different settings, both downtown, and in a natural, pretty environment. With it's waterfalls and hidden hiking trails, Bull Creek Park was a great spot to start. We couldn't have asked for better weather. The sunshine was as bright as Jordan's smile!

I love the opportunity to get to photograph anywhere downtown. There are so many cool places to shoot. So I was so excited when Jordan said she wanted some urban shots at the graffiti park and some with the Austin skyline. Her inner-model came out downtown - the camera loves her!

Jordan loves to go on mission trips and is active in her student ministry. She's been a high school cheerleader for four years, and also serves with the youth cheerleaders. We knew cheer photos had to happen - and we debated doing them at the high school or out at Brushy Creek Park. I'm so glad we chose the park. I love how they turned out - she's a superstar in that uniform!

Jordan, I loved every second of my time with you. You are incredible. I love you and can't express how excited I am to see what lies ahead for you. Thank you for letting me be a part of your senior year in an unforgettable way!
