“Sweet pea, apple of my eye...”

My beautiful daughter, Grace - You have reached a milestone in your life, but it has only just begun! I remain in awe of your bravery and dignity. You never cease to amaze me with your strength of character and hopeful attitude. You have so many qualities that will take you much farther in life than you know.  

I considered it an honor to take your photos. I know that working with Mom wasn't always the easiest, but your gentle beauty shines through each one. And you are beautiful - inside and out. A natural leader who is quick to find the good in others, your future is big and bright. I'm tremendously proud of the woman you have become!

We took Grace's photos in different locations on different days- one of the perks of being the photographer's daughter. ☺ Grace's favorite place on Earth is on the back of her horse, so photos with Taz at the barn were a must. Our Mini-Schnauzer, Nolan, also made an appearance. Grace is definitely most comfortable outdoors- always has been, so lovely Brushy Creek and Bull Creek Parks were great settings for her.

Grace is a natural beauty and wanted her images to reflect that. She's one of those rare girls that is equally girly and tomboy. Down to earth and usually in "barn" clothes, she did also inherit my love of fashion and accessories. It was a blast capturing those sides of her. For someone who is shy in front of the camera, her photos always stun me. Just look!

You can usually find Grace at the barn with her horse, and when she's not doing that she's mapping out her next adventure. Whether it be a mission trip or the path to Veterinary School, she's a goal-oriented planner and always thinking ahead. (Unlike her Mama!) However, like her Mama, she loves music and playing the guitar. She's shy and won't admit it, but she's got a killer singing voice. I'd buy her record. ☺

Grace, you are my heart and everything that is good to me. Keep fearlessly following your dreams. I love you.
